The Intravenous Treatment Center of New York – was founded by David J. Wolf, MD, on the faculty of Weill Cornell/New York – Presbyterian Hospital Medical Center to provide the same level of care that patients receive at leading academic institutions while offering more flexible scheduling, comfort, and amenities, with patient safety as a top priority.
IVNY also provides urgent treatment for appropriate medical emergencies. IVNY serves as a midway destination prior to an emergency room (ER), so some patients can avoid the ER or possibly hospital admission. In addition to a wide variety of IV therapies, IVNY offers transfusion of blood products obtained exclusively from the New York Blood Center. IVNY employs certified Nurse Practitioners (NPs) with at least 10 years experience, NPs will communicate effectively with the patient's referring physician, who constantly maintains ongoing control over clinical management decisions.
Patient compliance is optimized because of our approach.
